The European Youth Weightlifting Championships concluded a thrilling day of competition with a historic masterclass by Moldovan athletes Alexandr Baldji and Mihail Snilerman in the U20 -85 kg category. Alexandr Baldji delivered a legendary performance, capturing the title of European Champion while shattering three European records along the way! He claimed the silver medal in the snatch with 155 kg 🥈, the gold medal in the clean and jerk with 192 kg 🥇, and sealed the overall crown with a stunning 347 kg total 🥇. Meanwhile, teammate Mihail Snilerman put forth a strong showing in a fiercely contested division, finishing 12th in the clean and jerk (167 kg) and securing 13th place overall with a 304 kg total.
