Karateka from the Chișinău-based club “Master” delivered a standout performance at the Bucharest International Karate Open, held on September 26–27 in Romania. Guided by Sensei Ghennadie Nicora, the Moldovan squad captured seven medals—three gold and four bronze—competing against a stacked field of over 800 athletes from 12 countries. The star of the delegation was Robert Crecesco, who cracked the top 20 athletes of the entire tournament by claiming two gold medals and a bronze. Complemented by impressive podium finishes from Matvei Stratan, Ilya Vasiliev, Denis Dobrovolsky, and debutant Nikita Ceban, the team showcased the growing depth and technical excellence of Chișinău’s karate community.
