Former two-division UFC champion Alex Pereira is looking to bounce back following his interim heavyweight title loss to Ciriyl Gane. His head coach, Glover Teixeira, revealed that the team has identified the perfect matchup to put the Brazilian star right back into title contention.
The target is heavyweight prospect Josh Hokit.

“We need a fight that leads him back to a title shot. Josh Hokit has been talking a lot of trash, so I told Alex: ‘Go knock him out, get back on top, and get your rematch!’”
A decisive victory over Hokit is aimed at paving Pereira’s path straight back to the heavyweight belt.
