A new chapter begins for combat sports in the Republic of Moldova as the National K-1 Federation officially announces its new executive leadership. Following the General Assembly held on September 25, 2026, members voted unanimously to elect a fresh governance board tasked with elevating the sport locally and internationally.

The newly elected executive board features:

Cristian Drobot — President

Mihai Nani — Vice President & Chief Referee

Vladislav Belinschi — Vice President

Vitalie Matei — Head Coach

Pavel Barbănouă — Federation Secretary

During the session, attendees held a solemn moment of silence in honor of former President Constantin Bolea, who passed away on August 31, 2026. Reaffirming their gratitude for Bolea’s foundational work in building the country’s combat sports community, the incoming leadership pledged to uphold his legacy while fostering growth and professional development for all affiliated athletes, coaches, and clubs.
