Michael “Venom” Page is officially a free agent. UFC CEO Dana White has confirmed that the promotion will not be offering the 39-year-old British striker a new contract, and Page has already been removed from the official rankings.
“That was the last fight on his deal. And I don’t think we’re going to re-sign him. No. What’s not clear about that? I think it was pretty clear that he’s not getting a new contract and he’s removed from the rankings because he’s no longer a UFC fighter,” White stated during a press conference in Las Vegas.
Page fought out his contract last week in Paris, securing a unanimous decision victory over Nursulton Ruziboev. During his Octagon tenure, the former Bellator star logged six fights, earning five victories against a single loss—with every single bout going to the judges’ scorecards.
Prior to joining the UFC, “Venom” established himself as one of the most explosive knockout artists in Bellator history, where he spent the majority of his career.
