UFC CEO Dana White is growing weary of the endless negotiations surrounding the long-awaited boxing clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Despite months of discussions for one of the decade’s most anticipated fights, there is still no definitive agreement on if or when it will actually happen.
White, who is involved in organizing the broadcast and venue deals, expressed clear frustration over the constant back-and-forth between both camps. Disagreements over timing and venue—with Joshua reportedly pushing for the UK while organizers favor the US—continue to stall progress.
Speaking at the UFC 330 post-fight press conference, White didn’t hold back: “This fcking saga, we’ll see how this whole thing plays out. They either want to fight or they don’t.“* He emphasized that massive purses are on the table, but ultimately, both fighters must commit: “To make a fight, two guys have to want to fight. Period. End of story… Do you want to fight or do you not want to fight? I don’t give a shit one way or the other. It’s up to them.”
For White, the bottom line is simple: Fury and Joshua need to decide if they truly want to step into the ring together, or if this matchup remains pure fantasy.
